GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3) is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the development and differentiation of various tissues.
In the cervix, a weak to moderate, distinct nuclear positivity was observed in most basal and intermediate squamous epithelial cells.

In invasive breast carcinoma, moderate to strong nuclear positivity was observed in neoplastic cells.
In non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC), no staining was observed in neoplastic cells. However, at least weak nuclear positivity was observed in T-cells, serving as a positive control.
In kidney, at least moderate, distinct nuclear positivity was observed in podocytes found within the renal glomeruli and epithelial cells of the collecting duct.
