Special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 2 (SATB2) is a nuclear transcription factor that is strongly expressed in the epithelium of the lower gastrointestinal tract (GI) including the colon, appendix, and rectum.
A moderate to strong, distinct nuclear staining reaction of all neoplastic cells in the colon adenocarcinoma.
A moderate to strong, distinct nuclear staining reaction in virtually all columnar epithelial cells.
An at least weak to moderate, distinct nuclear staining reaction of dispersed germ cells (primarily spermatocytes) in seminiferous tubules of the testis.
