Sakura Finetek launches the Tissue-Tek^® TEC™ 6 Embedding Console System, the embedding system you trust with all of the enhancements you need.

TORRANCE, CA – Sakura Finetek USA, Inc. today announced the launch of the
Tissue-Tek^® TEC™ 6 Embedding Console System, making the preferred name in manual embedding systems even more reliable, comfortable and easy to use.

Full embedding control with just a touch
The new 4.3 inch color LCD touchscreen and easy-to-navigate onscreen controls allow for easy setup and operation, and the intuitive graphical user interface provides the ability to set and display temperatures in both the heated and cooled areas with just a touch of the screen.  The brightness of the LED work light can be adjusted directly from the main screen to improve specimen visibility and eliminate the clutter of external lamps.  Always ready when needed, the user-programmable scheduler automatically starts up or shuts down the system according to the set days of the week or even across overnight shifts.
 
Customizable comfort for a better embedding experience
The modular system allows the unit to be set up for either right- or left-handed operation to give users the choice of a workflow that is comfortable for them.  Ergonomic, padded wrist rests provide added support and comfort when needed but can be easily removed if desired and for easy cleaning.  New anti-glare, coated work surfaces reduce eye strain and provide better visual identification of tissues, and the adjustable LED work light can be dimmed or brightened according to the preference and needs of the user.
 
All the necessary features for safe and easy embedding and maintenance
Designed to be the ideal tissue embedding system for laboratories of any size, the large warming surface offers an extended working area with plenty of space to get the job done without feeling cramped.  The large, nylon-coated surface of the Tissue-Tek^® TEC™ 6 Cryo Module has raised edges to contain moisture and provide ample space for up to 60 blocks.  The software-driven Clean Mode provides an easy method for cleaning the forceps wells, reducing the risk of tissue cross-contamination during embedding.
