Mohs technical training workshops provided by the American Society of Mohs Histotechnology (ASMH) are now offered at Sakura Finetek USA.

Sakura Finetek USA expands its commitment to support education in the histopathology community by collaborating with the American Society of Mohs Histotechnology (ASMH) to bring Mohs technical training workshops to the West Coast. The Mohs Technician Training Program was created by the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) to elevate the national standard of Mohs Histotechnology and strive toward a common level of excellence of Mohs Technicians.

An exclusive customized two (2) day hands-on training session in sunny Torrance, CA is offered to technicians with a minimum of 6 months of Mohs experience. Sakura Finetek USA is privileged to support the ASMH program and make available training instruments and consumables including the Tissue-Tek® Cryo₃® Flex Cryostat, Mohs the first and only cryostat with 3D Winged Chuck to enable cutting complete sections faster, and in parallel preserving valuable tissue.
